Position: Senior Cost Engineer - Offshore / EPC Energy Projects
Location: The Hague

We are looking for a  Senior Cost Engineer  to manage, validate, and control project costs across complex engineering projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, review, and validate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts in line with project scope and execution plans

Monitor project performance and analyse cost variances, trends, and risks

Maintain accurate cost reports, KPIs, and financial dashboards

Support change management processes, including cost impact assessments

Apply cost control methodologies and earned value management (EVM) principles

Challenge project assumptions to drive cost efficiency and budget adherence

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between cost, schedule, and execution strategy

Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related discipline

Must have 10 years of experience in cost engineering, project controls and specifically in Project Estimating

Must have experience in offshore, EPC, construction, or oil & gas projects

Strong knowledge of cost estimation, forecasting, and project cost control methodologies
