As a Commissioning Engineer , you play a critical role in the final stage before delivery. You ensure that every onboard system operates exactly as intended - from initial testing through to final fine-tuning. Your work directly contributes to the performance and reliability of some of the world’s most advanced superyachts .
What You’ll Be Doing
Verify the functionality and technical performance of onboard installations
Independently commission systems, often in collaboration with clients and project partners
Carry out functional tests and I/O testing according to established protocols
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on site
Suggest and implement improvements to electrical and control systems
Document test results and update technical drawings where required
Conduct final inspections prior to vessel delivery
Role requirements
MBO diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Interest in or affinity with the maritime industry
Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Strong communication skills in English
Willingness to travel internationally when required
