Their expertise contributes to the development of intelligent, future-proof buildings that fully support the operational processes of their clients. From offices and airports to hospitals and data centers, they are responsible for designing installations that ensure optimal comfort and a high-quality indoor climate.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer within the Life Sciences sector, you will play a pivotal role in designing advanced and technically complex production environments, including laboratories and similar high-spec facilities.

From the earliest concept phase, you will be actively involved in developing smart, compliant technical solutions that meet stringent industry standards. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure seamless integration across disciplines while safeguarding the quality, consistency, and feasibility of the overall design.

In this senior position, you will take full ownership of your designs and act as a key point of contact for both clients and internal teams. You will guide and mentor colleagues, contributing to their professional growth while strengthening team performance. Your responsibilities will also include preparing design documentation, advisory reports, and cost estimates, as well as monitoring project timelines and budgets for your scope.

You will collaborate closely with project managers, supporting them in effectively communicating design concepts and progress to clients. Additionally, you will maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as design partners, contractors, and regulatory authorities, ensuring alignment throughout all project phases. Internally, you will coordinate with engineers, designers, and modelers to deliver high-quality, integrated solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Extensive experience with electrical design in complex environments (e.g., healthcare, airports, life sciences facilities)
• Strong expertise in both high- and low-voltage systems
• Proven experience working in project-based environments
• Strong team player with leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Excellent command of English, Dutch is a strong bonus
• Proficiency with MS Office, Revit, BIM
