Project Manager – Energy Infrastructure (EPC)
Location:
Den Haag, The Netherlands.
About the project
We provide Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Project Management services across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. The major Energy Infrastructure EPC Project in Africa includes large storage facilities, marine infrastructure, utility systems, process facilities, buildings, and associated infrastructure. The project is in the pre-construction and construction phases.
Your new challenge
Lead the overall execution and delivery of a major EPC project.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start‑up activities.
Manage multidisciplinary project teams and key stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with contractual, HSE, quality, and project requirements.
Lead project planning, progress reviews, forecasting, and performance reporting.
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and external interfaces.
Support commercial management, change management, and claim prevention activities.
Drive project delivery to achieve safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives.
Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout project execution.
Occasional travel to the project site in Africa and supplier/vendor locations may be required.
Qualifications & Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
15+ years in EPC project execution.
5+ years as a Project Manager on large industrial or energy projects.
Proven experience managing projects through Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Start-up phases.
Experience managing multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, project controls, procurement, and construction management.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Eligibility to work and reside in the EU and the Netherlands is desirable.
Preferred Experience
Experience with terminals and storage facilities, Oil & Gas, LNG, LPG, Ammonia, Hydrogen, or Energy Transition projects.
Marine and jetty infrastructure.
Petrochemical and chemical plants.
Industrial infrastructure projects.
Experience delivering projects in Africa, Middle East, or other international locations.
