Driven by Intelligence. Powered for the Future.
Autel is a global tech innovator in automotive diagnostics and smart mobility. With 2,000+ talents across 70+ countries, we fuse AI, big data, and cloud to drive the next generation of intelligent vehicles.
As Autel Energy expands rapidly in Europe’s EV charging market, we are seeking a proactive and structured Technical Specialist – EV Charger Testing & Commissioning to support our growing operations in Europe.
What You’ll Do
Perform incoming inspection, functional testing, commissioning, and performance calibration of AC/DC EV chargers, charging modules, control units, and related terminal equipment, ensuring compliance with EU standards (e.g. IEC 61851, EN 50620) and internal quality requirements. Prepare and upload testing & commissioning reports to the system.
Troubleshoot hardware faults and software communication issues identified during testing and commissioning. Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to identify root causes and provide practical, implementable solutions to minimize defective inventory backlog.
Manage, maintain, and calibrate testing and measurement tools (e.g. multimeters, oscilloscopes, EV charger testers). Ensure proper operation of equipment and establish tool usage records.
Support outbound requirements by completing charger pre-activation and parameter configuration (aligned with Dutch grid standards and local operator requirements), ensuring equipment is installation-ready upon delivery.
Interface with warehouse and logistics teams to report batch quality issues, packaging damage, and missing accessories. Share quality data with the supply chain team and drive supplier corrective actions to reduce supply chain risk.
Participate in local adaptation testing and commissioning in the Netherlands, provide structured testing feedback, and support the optimization of product design and manufacturing processes to ensure new products can be rapidly adapted to warehouse testing and local installation requirements.
Standardize the recording of testing and commissioning data, fault handling processes, and corrective solutions, and establish a comprehensive technical documentation system to support supply chain data analysis and product quality improvement. Provide technical training and on-site support to local installation teams and partners on EV charger testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
Associate degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Supply Chain Management (technical focus), or related fields. Experience in the EV charging industry is a plus.
Minimum 3 years of experience in EV charger (AC/DC) testing, commissioning, or technical support. Familiar with warehouse-based inspection and commissioning workflows, with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical issues. Solid understanding of EV charger operating principles, charging modules, and control units. Proficient in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and dedicated EV charger testing equipment.
Experience collaborating with supply chain functions, with a basic understanding of procurement, warehousing, and logistics processes. Able to effectively handle cross-functional technical issues.
Experience in the European EV charging market, especially the Netherlands, is preferred. Familiarity with local grid regulations, technical standards, and supply chain characteristics is a strong advantage.
Fluent English and Chinese as a working language, enabling direct communication with local teams and partners. Dutch language skills is a plus.
A valid driving license is required, with willingness to travel as needed.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and technical documentation tools.
Strong problem-solving ability, logical thinking, and cross-functional communication skills.
