We are looking for an experienced Power System Studies Engineer to support critical grid integration, renewable energy, and transmission projects across the Netherlands and beyond.

Your Role
As a Power System Studies Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering advanced technical analyses and simulations that support the design, optimization, and reliability of power networks.
Key Responsibilities
Perform power system studies including load flow, short-circuit, arc-flash, stability, and reliability assessments.
Develop engineering solutions for substations, transformers, renewable energy assets, and grid connection projects.
Conduct network modelling and simulations using industry-leading software tools.
Support project planning, technical reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
Identify opportunities to enhance system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
What do you need
What You Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
4+ years of experience in power systems, transmission networks, or electrical infrastructure projects.
Experience with power system analysis software such as ETAP, DIgSILENT, PSCAD, PSS®E, or equivalent.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with renewable energy grid connections, protection coordination, or consultancy projects is highly valued.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
