Position: Senior Communications Systems Engineer – PHY Layer DSP.
Location: The Hague

Overview  A Senior Communications Systems Engineer – PHY Layer DSP is sought by a leader in emerging wireless / IoT communications. Based at their R+ D Centre in Delft, the engineer will be responsible for the design and development of next‑generation advanced communication systems at the PHY layer focusing on bandwidth, latency and power efficiency.
Responsibilities   Develop innovative DSP algorithms to address systems‑level problems.
Analyse emerging standard requirements (BLE, LTE, LoRa, WiFi, etc.).
Design and develop PHY‑layer components such as modulation/demodulation, filtering, and channel estimation.
Qualifications   Experienced Senior Communications Systems Engineer with deep knowledge of DSP algorithm development and PHY‑layer components.
Strong Matlab/C++ programming skills.
Solid track record working at the PHY/MAC layer for BLE, NB‑IoT, LTE, WiFi, LoRa, IEEE
802.11 and exposure to RTL and fixed‑point calculations.
Knowledge of FPGA/ASIC implementation in a communication systems environment is a plus.
