Senior Pipe Support Designer
Are you experienced in pipe support design for offshore or floating production projects? Do you know how to balance technical accuracy, constructability, and project deadlines in challenging offshore environments?

We are looking for a  Senior Pipe Support Designer  to develop safe, reliable, and practical pipe support solutions for complex offshore and floating production projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and design pipe support systems in line with project specifications, offshore standards, and industry regulations.

Translate piping, structural, and project requirements into accurate and practical pipe support designs.

Perform structural calculations and technical analyses to ensure the integrity, safety, and functionality of pipe support solutions.

Prepare, check, and update design deliverables during FEED, detailed design, and construction phases.

Work with E3D and Navisworks to develop, review, and coordinate pipe support designs.

Coordinate closely with Piping, Structural, Stress, Layout, Construction, and other engineering disciplines.

Resolve design issues, clashes, and interface challenges in collaboration with engineers, designers, vendors, and project stakeholders.

Ensure pipe support designs meet quality, safety, constructability, and project schedule requirements.

Support construction teams with technical input, design clarifications, and site‑related queries when required.

Review vendor or subcontractor input and ensure alignment with project requirements and design standards.

Provide technical guidance to junior designers and support knowledge sharing within the discipline.

Act as Lead Designer for assigned scopes when required.

Qualifications

At least 6 years of experience in Pipe Support Design and/or Structural Engineering.

Experience with in the offshore, oil & gas, energy, or floating production industry.

Strong knowledge of piping systems, pipe support design, structural design principles, and offshore design standards.

Experience with FEED, detailed design, and construction support phases.

Proficiency with E3D and Navisworks.

Ability to perform structural calculations for pipe support designs.

Good understanding of constructability, safety, design quality, and project interface management.

Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, vendors, subcontractors, and construction stakeholders.

Able to deliver accurate design work within agreed timelines and project requirements.

Strong communication skills and the ability to resolve technical design issues in a practical way.

Experience with FPSOs or other floating production installations is preferred.

Leadership experience or the ability to guide junior designers is considered an advantage.
