Inspection Coordinator (Procurement) | 12-Month Contract | Netherlands
Location:
Netherlands (Hybrid)
Duration: Approximately 12 months (can be extended)
Working Hours:
40 hours per week

Location Preference: Candidates based in Europe or eligible to work in the Netherlands are preferred.
We are looking for an experienced Inspection Coordinator to join a leading engineering and industrial project in the Netherlands.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in inspection coordination, procurement, expediting, supplier management, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) within EPC, offshore, oil & gas, renewable energy, heavy engineering, or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain inspection plans and schedules aligned with project timelines and procurement activities.
Coordinate inspection schedules with suppliers, inspectors, expeditors, and project teams.
Assign inspectors based on location, expertise, and availability.
Plan and coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with suppliers and project stakeholders.
Ensure inspection documentation, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and required deliverables are complete before inspections.
Manage inspection notifications, confirmations, and inspection readiness.
Track inspection status, reports, and follow up on outstanding actions.
Escalate inspection delays, supplier issues, and resource constraints when required.
Coordinate inspection activities across multiple suppliers to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Requirements
Experience in Procurement, Expediting, Inspection Coordination, or Supply Chain.
Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers in an engineering or industrial environment.
Knowledge of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Strong planning, coordination, and scheduling skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with in EPC, Offshore, Energy, Heavy Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial Projects is highly preferred.
Nice to Have
Experience with Offshore, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, or Heavy Industrial projects.
Knowledge of mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, pressure vessels, and fabrication.
Experience in vendor management and supplier quality processes.
