Vacancy information  We are looking for an experienced PLC Engineer to join an innovative organization operating in the renewable energy and high-tech manufacturing sector. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and commissioning advanced control systems for complex automated equipment. You will work closely with software engineers, service engineers, and production teams to develop new functionalities and continuously improve existing systems.
Design, develop, and optimize PLC-based control systems.
Implement new machine functionalities and improve existing solutions.
Collaborate with software engineers to create user-friendly HMI interfaces.
Test, debug, and commission control applications.
Provide technical support during commissioning, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities, both remotely and on-site.
Support production, service, and customer teams with technical expertise.
Take ownership of projects within your discipline from concept through implementation.
Coordinate priorities with internal stakeholders, including management, sales, and customer service teams.
What do you need   Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a PLC Engineer.

Experience with Beckhoff (TwinCAT), Siemens, and/or Allen-Bradley PLC platforms.
Proficiency in Structured Text (ST) programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Basic electrical troubleshooting and measurement skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
Good command of the English language
10+ years of PLC engineering experience.
Experience in a Lead Engineer or mentoring role.
Knowledge of HMI development and user interface design.

Experience with electrical panel design and schematic drawings.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as OPC and Modbus.
Experience designing control systems within manufacturing environments.
Hands-on experience with wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
