Are you ready to take technical ownership of multi-million-euro engineering projects and contribute to the next generation of luxury river cruise vessels?
For one of our clients, a leading specialist in electrical engineering solutions for the maritime industry, we are looking for a Project Engineer Electrical Engineering. This is a unique opportunity to work on a long-term shipbuilding program for one of the world's leading cruise operators.
What will you do?
As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete electrical scope of large-scale shipbuilding projects, with project values ranging from €4M to €6M per vessel. From engineering and design to commissioning, you will play a key role in delivering technically advanced passenger ships.
Design and engineer complete electrical installations
Develop lighting, automation, power distribution, and navigation systems
Prepare technical documentation and specifications
Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and production teams
Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting onboard
Act as the main technical point of contact throughout the project
Ensure technical quality, planning, and engineering standards
What are we looking for?
Experience as an Electrical Engineer or Project Engineer
Background in industrial, marine, offshore, or electrical engineering projects
Strong ownership mentality and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Ability to manage multiple technical disciplines within complex projects
Professional proficiency in Dutch and English
Experience with maritime electrical systems, automation, navigation systems, power management, or shipbuilding is a strong advantage

Monthly gross salary between €5,000 and €6,000, depending on experience.
