Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: The Hague

Troubleshoot production, refine assembly processes - and keep our high-tech radars built to perform.
As our Production Engineer, you own the technical quality and flow of our manufacturing line. You work side-by-side with Operations, Engineering, and Project Management - turning complex designs into standardized assembly steps, solving root-cause issues, and optimizing workstation layouts. You report to the Head of Production & Planning, and you're a big part of why our systems ship smoothly and perform reliably.
What you'll do     Technical documentation and standardisation:
Review technical documentation for clarity and manufacturability before assembly starts. Update work instructions regularly to ensure standardized, smooth manufacturing workflows.

Root cause analysis and troubleshooting:
Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues during production. Document findings in Quality Alerts and drive preventative fixes with Engineering to stop repeat defects.

Process optimization and workspace design:
Conduct time studies and build tools or fixtures to reduce waste. Redesign workstations and layouts using 5S and Kaizen tools to lift safety and efficiency.

New product introduction (NPI):
Prepare production lines for new product launches alongside design teams. Ensure all assembly processes align with engineering specifications and quality standards.

Documentation and feedback loops:
Maintain detailed records of assembly steps, test results, and repairs. Feed real-time production insights back into engineering and quality systems to lift future designs.

What you bring     BA (MBO-4) or MSc degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field

7+ years of experience in high-tech assembly roles, focusing on continuous improvement

Strong practical grasp of 5S workplace organization and Kaizen methodologies

Skilled in electronics, mechatronics, PCBs, electrical diagrams, and equipment like oscilloscopes or VNAs

Fluent in both English and Dutch, both written and spoken

Analytical, detail-driven, and hands-on when executing improvement projects with internal teams

A fork-lift driver's licence is considered a plus

A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and a background check are part of our screening process. We appreciate your understanding.
