AMS Verification Engineer | Netherlands or abroad

The Role
As an AMS Verification Engineer, you will join a multidisciplinary development team working on next-generation semiconductor products for industrial and automotive applications. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of complex mixed-signal integrated circuits, from verification planning through sign-off.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute AMS verification plans for chip‑level verification.

Build, maintain, and enhance verification environments using System Verilog, UVM, and real‑number modelling techniques.

Develop test benches and verification models for complex mixed‑signal designs.

Define verification coverage targets and track sign‑off metrics.

Analyze verification results and support debugging activities together with design teams.

Participate in technical reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of verification methodologies.

Collaborate closely with analog, digital, and mixed‑signal design engineers.

Your Profile

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor development is a must.

Strong experience with AMS Verification.

Hands‑on experience with the Cadence Verification Environment.

Solid understanding of Mixed‑Signal IC Design.

Strong knowledge of:

System Verilog

UVM

Verification methodologies and coverage‑driven verification

Experience with Verilog‑AMS, wreal, or other real‑number modelling techniques is a strong advantage.

Basic scripting skills (Python, Perl, Tcl, Shell, or similar).

Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.

Nice to Have

Experience with Power Electronics (big plus), including:

AC/DC conversion

Power conversion systems

Power management solutions

Experience in Automotive Semiconductor development.

Knowledge of chip‑level verification for safety‑critical applications.
