Je werkt in een stad vol afwisseling: van het strand tot de binnenstad, van levendige markten tot diverse wijken en grote evenementen. Elke dag ben je buiten zichtbaar aanwezig en sta je in direct contact met inwoners. Je werkt in hechte gebiedsteams waar de lijnen kort zijn en je écht samenwerkt. Tegelijkertijd krijg je ruimte om te leren, jezelf te ontwikkelen en je bevoegdheden verder uit te breiden.
In deze functie heb je een zichtbare en betekenisvolle rol waarin jij direct bijdraagt aan de veiligheid en leefbaarheid van de stad.
- Toezicht houden in de openbare ruimte, zoals winkelgebieden, woonwijken, stranden, parken en recreatiegebieden
- Handhaven op lokale regelgeving, waaronder de APV, afval, overlast en parkeren
- Signaleren van situaties die aandacht vragen en hier professioneel op handelen
- Samenwerken met politie, wijkpartners en collega‑BOA’s
- Gastheerschap richting inwoners en ondernemers
