The Role

Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, the role partners closely with Clinical, Regulatory, and Commercial functions — supporting and amplifying Cassini's clinical evidence.

What You Will Do
  • Execute and maintain Cassini's global medical communications plan
  • Develop and manage all global scientific communications content
  • Own global congress execution from a medical communications perspective
  • Maintain the global abstract and submission calendar across key congresses
  • Own KOL engagement infrastructure globally
  • Manage Cassini's Global Clinical Advisory Board (CAB)
  • Lead the medical communications workstream for product launches
  • Manage the medical communications budget in coordination with the Global Marketing Director
  • Ensure all activities comply with internal SOPs, industry codes, and applicable regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
What We Require
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biomedical science, pharmacy, or a related field - equivalent combination of qualification and experience considered
  • 5–7 years in medical communications or medical affairs, with meaningful experience in ophthalmology or ophthalmic medical devices
  • Experience supporting congress programs, KOL engagement, and scientific content development across live and digital channels
  • Experience coordinating agency and vendor deliverables
  • Strong track record in scientific content production and submission management
  • Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages advantageous
  • Willing to travel internationally (20–30%): major ophthalmic congresses and KOL sites
  • Background in cataract, refractive, or premium IOL markets a strong advantage
We Offer
  • Salary in line with market rate for the role and experience level
  • Professional development supported through role-relevant training, courses, and conferences — employee-initiated
  • Office right next to The Hague central station
  • Standard office package: snacks, NS business card for work-related travel, pension contribution
