Do you want to play an impactful role in leading the development and execution of digital strategic programmes within the Non-Life business unit of Nationale Nederlanden? We are looking for a Cluster lead Digitally oriented Strategic Programme Managers who is able to set the standard for digital transformation, coach cluster members, and manage strategic digital transformation programmes.

Non-life’s strategy is accelerating digitalisation to drive cost efficiency and enable growth, thereby unlocking sustainable customer value. The role of the Strategic Transformation Expertise & Portfolio management (STEP) Team is to create value by helping Non-life develop and safeguard its strategy and identifying opportunities to increase operational efficiency, improve the customer experience, and drive sustainable growth. As a team we help drive topics that overarch individual Non-life business lines or involve multiple teams/departments across Non-life.

Accelerating digitalisation, market consolidation, internationalisation, and technological advancements have changed the nature of competition and the expectations of clients fundamentally. Increased focus on digitalisation, pricing, costs, and growth opportunities call for professionals who have experience in analysing data and (financial) figures, can conceptually draft strategic options, and can create traction to enable transformations.

As the Cluster lead Digitally oriented Strategic Programme Managers, you will be responsible for leading the monitoring of industry trends on digitalisation, setting the standard on analysing processes, data, and ways of working, conceptualising and helping cluster members conceptualise domain transformations (with AI), developing structured digital programmes, and helping the organisation transform its business to become more cost efficient, improve customer journeys, and thereby increase stakeholder value.

The role requires balancing high-level vision with practical delivery to drive digital transformation and achieve specific business outcomes.

We expect you to be able to successfully overcome challenging issues in a complex environment by overseeing the entire field of internal and external stakeholders and setting the right priorities. We are looking for a resourceful person, who always finds a way to help cluster members and stakeholders align, is great at identifying new opportunities, and mindful of possible threats. In addition, you should be able to translate complex issues into actionable plans and communicate in a clear yet inspiring manner.

As the Cluster lead Digitally oriented Strategic Programme Managers you will be responsible for coaching cluster members, identifying digital strategy challenges, leading strategic themes, and transforming the organisation through digitalisation programmes.

• Coaching cluster members in terms of knowledge and skills, and helping to set the strategic direction for the Digital domain together with the manager STEP
• Analysing digital domains in terms of process, data, technologies, and costs
• Conceptualizing and developing digital transformation strategies
• Executing complex transformation programmes across the organisation
• Balancing the needs of senior stakeholders as well as multi-disciplinary teams
• Communicating and reporting on progress in an inspiring way

• Salary between €8,769 and €12,527 based on a 40 hour workweek, depending on your knowledge and experience
