ServiceNow Architect

Location: The Hague

The Service Now Solution Architect will join an  in-flight Service Now programme  where the platform is already in place and delivery activity has begun.
The architect will rapidly assess the current solution architecture, implementation progress, platform configuration, integrations, backlog, design decisions, risks, and delivery dependencies. The role will provide practical architectural leadership to  stabilize and accelerate delivery .
The architect will ensure that the Service Now solution is designed and delivered as an  integrated, scalable, and sustainable platform capability  that supports agreed business and technology outcomes.
This includes validating existing design decisions, identifying gaps or rework, aligning the solution across Service Now products and enterprise systems, resolving architectural and delivery issues, and collaborating with platform, process, technical, security, data, integration, operations, and business teams.

Refine the end-to-end Service Now solution architecture where required, including:
Data model
Integrations
Workflow design
Security model
Reporting
Service Now best-practice alignment
Provide architectural oversight across relevant Service Now modules, depending on programme scope:

Sec Ops
SPM

Custom applications
Assess and improve integration patterns using:
APIs
Integration Hub
Import Sets

Approved enterprise integration approaches
Support integration of Service Now with enterprise systems, cloud platforms, monitoring tools, identity providers, data sources, and service management tooling.
Delivery & Programme Support   Work with the existing delivery team to prioritize:
Testing requirements
Adoption considerations
Delivery blockers
Build and configuration
Integration
Testing
Operational readiness
Adoption activities
Balance architectural best practices with project realities, preserving useful work already completed while correcting material gaps.
Stakeholder Management   Collaborate with:

Documentation & Recommendations   Prepare clear mid-project recommendations, including:

Produce solution design reviews, gap assessments, decision logs, remediation plans, integration specifications, test-support documentation, governance artefacts, and executive-ready materials.
Must-Have Expertise   Strong  Service Now Solution Architecture  experience, particularly assessing and improving an in-progress implementation.
