About the role

We are growing - and are looking for a Quality Engineer who is passionate about improving processes, ensuring product quality, and strengthening our quality systems in a high-tech environment. In this role, you will work across the full lifecycle — from development to production — ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest aerospace standards. You will play a key role in:

  • improving process reliability
  • solving quality issues at their root cause
  • further developing our EN9100-based quality system
What you will do Drive quality in development and production
  • Support Engineering and Production in all quality-related aspects
  • Ensure quality is embedded from design through manufacturing and testing
  • Contribute to robust and repeatable production processes
Problem solving & continuous improvement
  • Lead investigation of non-conformities and production issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and define corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across departments
Quality system & procedures
  • Develop, implement and improve internal quality procedures
  • Maintain and support the EN9100 quality management system
  • Ensure processes are clearly defined and followed
Cross-functional collaboration
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production and Supply Chain
  • Act as a bridge between disciplines to improve overall quality
  • Support internal and external audits
What you bring
  • BSc / MSc / BEng in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or similar
  • At least 5 years of experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with quality systems (EN9100 is a strong plus)
  • Affinity with composites, aerospace or high-tech production is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • Proficiency in English and/or Dutch
Your route

In this role, you will develop into a key quality specialist within KVE, gaining in-depth knowledge of composite development and manufacturing processes. KVE will support your growth through:

  • hands‑on experience across development and production
  • exposure to complex technical challenges
  • training and continuous professional development

Over time, you will play a central role in further improving and professionalising the organisation’s quality performance.
