Overview

The post involves working as a member of a skilled dental team. The successful candidate will assist with reception duties, including welcoming patients into clinics, recording changes in personal details, updating the electronic information system, making appointments, and ensuring laboratory work is received and available for the dental team. Following appropriate training, you will sterilise instruments and equipment. The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable;
English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties

North Wales Community Dental Service is seeking to appoint a Dental Health Care Assistant in Denbigh Community Hospital. The post involves working as part of a dental team and performing reception duties, updating patient records, booking appointments, and ensuring laboratory work is available for the team. You will, after training, sterilise instruments and equipment.

Qualifications include: travel between sites as required, and language proficiency (Welsh desirable).
