Role OverviewThe post holder will assist in the provision of child assessment and further interventions for children within a variety of different community settings. You will provide support to children and families using a holistic approach and support children and their families with hospital appointments and provide desensitisation programmes. The post holder will work in collaboration with the community and acute teams to implement initiatives to effectively respond to the health needs of children and young people with learning disabilities and complex health needs, which include health promotion, health screening and access to health care services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in providing child assessment and interventions in various community settings.
- Support children and families with hospital appointments and desensitisation programmes.
- Collaborate with community and acute teams to implement initiatives addressing the health needs of children and young people with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
- Participate in health promotion, health screening and access to health care services.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post;
