What you’ll do:
You'll be supporting a wonderful client in their family home alongside their parents and four friendly dogs. The client lives with a number of complex health needs, including:
Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Hypertonic Clonus Spasms, Developmental Delay and Learning Difficulties.
Although non-verbal, the client communicates through smiles, laughter and vocal sounds, making this an incredibly rewarding role where you can build a meaningful connection and truly enhance quality of life.
This is a highly supportive 2:1 care package where you’ll provide ongoing clinical and personal care support, including:
- Manual handling
- Medication administration via JEJ
- Chest physiotherapy support
- Seizure management
- Oral suctioning
- Personal care and hygiene support
- Attend Hydrotherapy once a week
The family create a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for the care team, making this a lovely home-based setting to work in.
QualificationsWhat we’re looking for:
Experience in the following areas would be beneficial:
- Bowel management
- Bladder management
- Epilepsy care
- Seizure management
- Respiratory management
- Oral suctioning
Most importantly, we’re looking for caring, reliable people with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping others.
