• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service, answering product questions, informing guests about promotions, and recommending complementary Ulta Beauty products and services.
• Court customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.
• Book appointments for and support services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while achieving sales goals.
• Stay informed about new and existing products and services, and be knowledgeable about ingredients and benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
• Share the benefits of the guest loyalty program and the Ulta Beauty app with guests on the sales floor.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to help grow the business.
• Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education, to enable continuous professional development and drive sales performance.
• Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards.
• Adhere to Ulta Beauty’s dress code.
• Drive sales by keeping assigned work area replenished, signed, and faced, and ensuring testers are available.
• Maintain store standards and cleanliness, including sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
• Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing/unloading using Ulta Beauty technology and best practices.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Demonstrates passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., POS system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Continuous and/or frequent lifting, carrying, and/or moving up to 25 lbs.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.
