A manufacturing plant is hiring a Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance execution, improve equipment reliability, and manage plant projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can keep production running while building a stronger preventive maintenance program.
What you’ll own- Lead and develop the maintenance team; set priorities and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Improve preventive and predictive maintenance, work orders, and equipment performance.
- Plan and deliver capital projects with minimal disruption to production.
- Maintain strong safety, food safety, and environmental practices.
- At least 5 years of manufacturing maintenance or engineering experience and 2 years leading a team.
- Maintenance, engineering and capital projects experience
- A background in food, beverage, or consumer products manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills and experience with a CMMS
- An engineering degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in meat processing is a plus.
