Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic, neurological, post‑surgical, and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address patient goals and functional limitations.
- Deliver hands‑on interventions, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or traction.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure clear, accurate EMR documentation.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, other healthcare providers, and clinic staff to coordinate care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area in compliance with infection control standards.
- Stay current with best practices through continuing education and professional development.
- Evaluate and treat hospitalized patients across medical/surgical units, ICU, orthopedics, neurology, and general medicine.
- Initiate early mobility and rehabilitation to prevent functional decline and promote safe discharge.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other therapists for discharge planning and recommendations for continued care (e.g., home health, SNF, rehab).
- Document all care accurately and promptly in the hospital’s EMR.
- Provide evaluation and treatment to patients with orthopedic, neurological, post‑operative, and chronic conditions.
- Develop individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans to meet functional goals.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, condition management, and injury prevention.
- Monitor progress and modify interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current state license to practice Physical Therapy.
- Experience in an outpatient orthopedic or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities.
- Competitive salaries $39.00/hr – $58.00/hr depending on experience
