Security Officer - Facility Patrol

As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol in Denison, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the food and beverage location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, support a secure environment for employees and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter potential issues.
• Communicate with site staff, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner while upholding site-specific protocols.
• Document incidents and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
