Staff Accountant

Location: Denison, TX

Take ownership of critical accounting functions for a growing manufacturing operation where your work will directly improve financial accuracy and business decision-making. My client is seeking a hands-on accountant who can strengthen AR and payroll while helping clean up processes, improve reporting, and build more efficient accounting workflows.

• Base salary plus profit sharing opportunity

• Expand beyond transactional accounting into month-end, analysis, and projects

• Own AR, invoicing, collections, aging, and account reconciliations
• Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
• Support month-end close, inventory reconciliation, job closures, and journal entries
• Perform product/customer margin analysis and reporting
• Support system implementations, upgrades, audits, and data validation
• Identify and implement accounting process improvements and automation

• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred
• Payroll processing experience
• Exposure to costing and inventory accounting
• Basic/intermediate SQL skills are a plus
• Comfortable independently solving accounting and process issues
