The Paramedic will provide quality care to patients of all ages under the direction of the Medical Director and the charge nurse. Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, data collection, charting, ECG interpretation, IV therapy, and protocol initiation. Work collaboratively with RNs and medical providers to care for adult medical and trauma patients.

• Provide patient care within scope of practice under Medical Director supervision.
• Perform ECG interpretation, IV therapy, and initiate approved protocol orders and guidelines.
• Collect pertinent data, chart appropriately, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with RNs and medical providers for adult medical and trauma patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Completion of an accredited paramedic program.
• 1 year experience as a Paramedic in pre‑hospital or hospital environment preferred.
• Licensed Paramedic (LP) or EMT‑P in Texas required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) certification, completed within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrate arrhythmia competency scoring at least 90% within 90 days.
• Effective communication with healthcare workers, physicians, patients, and families.
