Position Overview
The Market Director provides leadership, direction, and ongoing administration and management within a designated market for all operational aspects of IPM's physician practices. The role ensures policies and procedures are implemented for efficient, effective management of all programs. The Market Director directly supervises Practice Managers and/or Practice Administrators, holds overall responsibility for the care centers' financial and operational performance, and communicates and implements corporate strategic initiatives to meet program goals and objectives.
The position demands a strong motivation to achieve optimum results and is located within IPM’s market in Denison, Texas.
- Maintain direct supervision of providers while ensuring policies and procedures are implemented for efficient, effective management of all programs.
- Hold overall responsibility for all aspects of the care centers, financial and operational performance, and communicate and implement corporate strategic initiatives to meet program goals and objectives.
- Assist in the recruitment of physicians to develop/grow provider base, including networking and interviewing; oversee credentialing, contracting, and onboarding processes.
- Collaborate with market leaders to monitor performance indicators, ensuring practice objectives/goals are met (e.g., pro‑fee billing training, compliance, and timely credentialing).
- Maintain strong collaborative relationships with hospital administration leaders and market providers.
- Engage and collaborate with market partners in the implementation of telehealth initiatives, processes, and procedures.
- Demonstrate service excellence and convey professionalism at all times with strong motivation to achieve optimum results.

- Bachelor’s degree in Health or Business Administration required.
- Master’s degree in health or business administration and/or certification by the American College of Medical Practice Executives preferred.
- Three to five years of physician practice management or health care management experience required.
- Experience managing multiple physician locations across a geographic area with at least 20 physicians required.
- Strong understanding of financial management, business, and clinical operations of a medical group practice.
- Knowledge of fiscal management techniques, revenue cycle management, and third‑party reimbursement.
- Knowledge of health care administration systems.
- Knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
- Planning, organizing, and supervising.
- Exercising initiative, judgment, problem‑solving, decision‑making.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients, and the public.
- Analyze and interpret complex data and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Human resources management, organization, and team building.
