Die Cast Machine Operator Position Summary
The Die Cast Machine Operator operates manual, semi-automatic, and automatic die casting equipment used to manufacture a variety of parts. This position is also responsible for removing, installing, setting up, and operating die cast dies. The operator works closely with machine operators, leads, supervisors, Quality Control personnel, Maintenance, and Tool Crib Attendants.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Machine Operation – 70%
- Operate semi-automatic and automatic die casting machines according to approved procedures.
- Start and shut down machines.
- Adjust sprue-fault settings and start robotic equipment.
- Monitor equipment during operation and respond promptly to production issues.
