Overview

RN - HOME HEALTH-BONHAM at Texoma Medical Center. Texoma Medical Center is a 414-bed acute care facility serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma.

The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Nursing will provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations will provide guidelines for competent, safe and professional practice. Provide patient-centered care and address the needs of the populations served with timely and appropriate communication.

Work as an effective team player and, when needed, independently ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.

• Education per licensure; BSN preferred.
• One year experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting required. One year full-time home health experience preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license valid for the state in which services are provided.
• Current driver 's license, auto liability, and BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting. Reliable transportation required.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the agency. Must be able to identify and address needs of populations served. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to organize, prioritize, follow directions, and address patient needs in a timely manner. Work as an effective team player and independently. Basic computer skills.
