We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager
- Finance and Accounting to join our team in Bali. The successful candidate will oversee critical financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and play a key role in preparing audit-ready financial reports. This position requires strong analytical skills and a proven track record in financial reporting and import payment processes.
- Oversea purchase settlement (import)
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and alignment between company records and bank statements.
- Prepare and close monthly, interim, and yearly financial reports, ensuring compliance with Indonesian GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Lead the preparation of interim and yearly audit reports, ensuring all financial data is accurate and audit-ready.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, identify trends, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity to meet operational and financial obligations.
- Collaborate with auditors (internal and external) to facilitate smooth audit processes and address findings.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including preparation and filing of tax reports, leveraging Brevet A/B knowledge.
- Maintain and update financial records in accounting systems with high accuracy and integrity.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and banks to resolve discrepancies and ensure efficient payment processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely collections and payments.
- Provide guidance to junior finance staff and contribute to process improvements in financial operations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive financial planning and performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Brevet A and B certification in taxation.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with proven expertise in financial reporting, closing financial reports, and import payment processes.
- Experience in preparing interim and yearly audit reports.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Quick Books, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the hospitality, tourism, or retail industry (common in Bali).
- Familiarity with international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- Experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools.
