About Atova

Atova is a social impact organisation delivering community-based programmes across education, conservation, and health & wellbeing in Indonesia. Our work focuses on capacity building, sustainability, and experiential learning, providing participants with practical exposure to international development and field operations.

About the Programme

This is a structured, educational internship programme designed to support learning, skills development, and professional growth. The programme is training-focused and is not a paid employment role. Participants join primarily for educational and developmental purposes, gaining supervised, hands-on experience in a real-world setting.

Participants will gain exposure to:

  • Community-based education, conservation, and health & wellbeing initiatives
  • Programme support activities, including lesson planning and supervised delivery
  • Operational and administrative support within a field-based environment
  • Assistance with logistics and coordination at the Bali field base
  • Participation in professional development sessions, workshops, and training
  • Optional fitness and adventure-based activities delivered as part of the programme

Participants live and work as part of a small team and share responsibility for day-to-day communal tasks (such as cooking and cleaning) as part of the learning and cultural exchange experience.

Who This Programme Is For

This programme is suitable for individuals who:

  • Are interested in international development, education, conservation, or health & wellbeing
  • Are motivated to learn in a hands-on, cross-cultural environment
  • Can work collaboratively and adapt to new situations
  • Are seeking structured learning and practical experience rather than paid employment

No prior field experience is required.

To support participants during the programme, Atova arranges:

  • Shared accommodation for the duration of the programme
  • Daily meals
  • Airport pick-up and drop-off in Bali (if required).
  • On-site supervision and programme guidance
  • Access to training, workshops, and organised activities

Participants join the programme under appropriate training and cultural exchange arrangements, in line with local regulations.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive:

  • A Certificate of Completion recognising their participation in the Atova Internship Programme
  • A professional reference letter from Atova’s CEO & Founder, reflecting engagement and contribution during the programme
