About the Role

Our client is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Assistant to support children with diverse learning needs within a childcare setting in Denpasar
. This role is crucial in providing individualized assistance to help children achieve their developmental and educational goals. You will work closely with lead teachers and therapists to implement tailored support strategies, ensuring an inclusive and encouraging environment. • Provide one-on-one or small group support to children with special needs under the guidance of teachers and specialists.
• Assist children in participating in classroom activities, fostering independence and engagement.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies as directed.
• Help children develop social, emotional, and life skills through structured activities.
• Monitor and record children's progress, reporting observations to the educational team.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment, assisting with personal care needs when necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support.

• Previous experience working with children with special needs.
• Understanding of various special educational needs and learning disabilities.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and implement support plans accurately.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further certifications in special education support are a plus.
