In this role, you should be a keen problem solver andhavea good levelof written and spoken English. The role primarily involves helping clients and prospective clients useour hosting service, answering technical queriesmainly throughsupport tickets and livechat.

We use a standard hosting stack comprising cPanel, Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHPsoexperience with these technologies is crucial.

The majority ofthe sites we host willrun a CMS like Word Press, so experience from a user or management perspective of Word Press is also desirable.

• Accessing a Linux server with SSH
• Minimal D3/S1
• 1year experience
• Using common command line tools, like grep, vi/nano,chmod/chown.htaccessfiles, rewrite rules, IP blocking
• Basic PHP scripting and syntax, php.ini configuration variables
• MySQL connection strings, basic SQL syntax, and common error messages
• Identifying and diagnosing server performance problems (CPU,iowait, swap)
• Migrating websites manually between servers
• Managing DNS and name servers.
