Technical Lead; React and Node

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Lead (React and Node) in Indonesia.

This role is a hands-on technical leadership position at the core of building modern, scalable full-stack applications. You will act as the go-to expert for React and Node.js solutions, shaping technical standards while guiding delivery across complex projects. Working in a highly collaborative, remote-first environment, you will influence architecture decisions, code quality, and engineering best practices. The position offers the opportunity to work on impactful, real-world products across diverse industries.

You will balance strategic technical leadership with active development, ensuring robust, secure, and maintainable systems. This is an ideal role for an experienced engineer ready to lead by example and drive technical excellence.

• Act as the technical lead for full-stack applications built with React, Node.js, and Type Script
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend architectures using Node.js frameworks
• Contribute to and enforce coding standards, tooling, and technical best practices across projects
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality solutions
• Lead code reviews, promote reusable components, and ensure high test coverage and reliability
• Support architectural decisions around databases, integrations, authentication, and cloud services
• Mentor engineers and actively participate in Agile delivery, estimation, and continuous improvement

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with strong expertise in React, Node.js, and Type Script
• Solid backend experience with Node.js frameworks and Postgre
  
  SQL databases
• Experience with Git Hub and modern development workflows
• Strong understanding of unit testing practices, including Jest
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative delivery environments
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Nice to have experience with NestJS or Express.js, schema validation, cloud services, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Mongo
  
  DB, Python for ETL, or SSO integrations
