Computes, classifies, and records numerical data to keep records complete. Performs any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain necessary data for use in maintaining accounting records.

• Matching Cash Settlements to GL and bank record details (Credit Card Clearing)
• Matching Cash Settlements to GL and bank record details (E-commerce Sales Clearing)
• Performing reconciliations of Credit Card and E-commerce Clearing accounts
• Creating and posting journal entries necessary to maintain Clearing Accounts
• Utilizes various accounting software to record, store, and analyze information. Debits, credits, and totals accounts on spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software
• Compiles statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to daily settlements
• Accesses financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts

• 1-3 years’ experience in accounting or related field
• Intermediate experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in Oracle
• Experience with reviewing and verifying information from multiple sources
• Experience in preparing and processing journal entries
• Bachelor's in accounting or finance preferred
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
• The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
