Job Summary

We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator which will be centered on shipping integrity and process performance improvement, while driving collaborative operation with Production. In this position, you will be responsible for the Packaging Material inventory accuracy and is expected to support team development through participation to Autonomous Maintenance /5S and providing SAP training.

The position is based in Denton, TX, USA.

Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or External) who require International relocation to the United States.

What you will do

As a Shipping Coordinator you will:

  • Plan and control shipping process, record measurement, and taking necessary actions to correct deviations. Manage daily activities like picking and loading.
  • Ensure inventory information in SAP is accurate. Support Supply Chain Control Tower on managing overweight trucks and material left behind.
  • Support Supply Chain Control Tower on balancing Inbound / Outbound appointments according to Warehouse capacity and make sure system is updated on a daily basis.
  • Control and report availability of material – Doctor list creation and follow up.
  • Analyze and report KPI (Technical Issue, OTIF, Perfect Order, Inventory accuracy, Stock Ageing, etc.)
  • Support expansion of WCM to attack Logistics losses.
  • Train SAP end-users (develop and maintain training material and deliver training) for receiving and inventory movement.
  • Support operators to maintain process integration with troubleshooting issues such as outages, equipment break downs, etc.
  • Plan and monitor warehouse space and inventory (obsolete, aged, damaged, others).
  • Drive process improvement by participating and/or leading teams.
  • Issue delivery documents and invoice. Send dispatch local documents with trucks and distribute any other legal document to different entities.
  • Monitor quality controls in place (Loading patterns - Rejection trucks (poor quality) – claim analysis – audit process in place CTPAT – BRC – FSC, others. Document custody.
We believe you have
  • Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or any other field related to logistic.
  • 3 to 5 years logistics experience (shipping/warehouse), project experience.
  • Knowledge of lean/continuous improvement principles, production planning, quality concepts.
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SAP.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
