The Frank W. and Sue Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool. This posting is for the Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 semesters.
The anticipated need is for instructors to teach courses such as:
- News Writing – Introductory and Advanced
- Photojournalism – Introductory and Advanced
- Broadcast – Introductory and Advanced
- Magazine Writing and Publishing – Undergraduate and Graduate
- Race, Gender & Media;
Sports, Food, Music, and Opinion Journalism - Digital Media for Journalists
- Law & Ethics
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field and at least 10 years of direct professional experience in media.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in journalism or related field and three years full-time experience in media and/or college teaching. Experience teaching online classes is a plus.
