Graphic Designer

FASTSIGNS DENTON is looking for a Graphic Designer who possesses the maturity, passion, and energy to collaborate with others on our team. Someone who can see beyond what is presented and design something that excites and inspires and can appreciate the value of simple, clean, and eye-catching.

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced education degree preferred
• At least one year of graphic design in a production environment
• Very strong verbal and writing communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong digital content skills
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible
• Previous sign or print industry experience preferred
• Photo touch up, straightening/scaling experience preferred
• Experience with roll to roll printers preferred
• Strong skills with Pantone, CMYK color space, ICC profiles and color management preferred
• Production sign skills, i.e., weeding, masking, vinyl application, vehicle graphics application preferred
• Graphics or production management skills preferred

• Collaborate with team members and customers on designs, proofs, and upload proofs to sales system
• Maintain design template library with common artwork and logos
• Prepare comprehensive illustrations, sketches, layouts, and copy for print reproduction
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to production
• Perform customer logo maintenance and sourcing
• Work on different projects simultaneously
• Establish and maintain effective team relationships with all support departments
