Department SummaryThe Department of Art Education offers B.F.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in Art Education, a Graduate Certificate in Museum Education, and the IADS program offers B.A. degrees with concentrations in three pathways:
Arts Management, Design Management, and Open Track. Both of these programs, which are merging, enable students to prepare to begin a career in arts and design professions, continue their studies in graduate school, or to become leaders and educators in a variety of educational settings.

Our faculty are engaged artists, scholars, designers, and educators recognized nationally and internationally for their intellectual and creative research. Our programs prepare students to begin careers in arts and design professions, continue graduate studies, or become leaders and educators in diverse educational settings.
