Assistant Professor of Management – Health Care Administration (MBA)
The College of Business is searching for an Assistant Professor (tenure‑track) to teach Health Care Administration beginning August 2025. Candidates must possess an earned doctorate in Health Care Administration or a related discipline. ABD candidates near completion will be considered. Professional experience in health care administration is highly desired, as is an MBA. This position is at an AACSB accredited college, so applicants with terminal degrees from AACSB‑accredited institutions will be given preference.
Continued scholarly research productivity is required. Tenure‑track faculty are expected to maintain Scholarly Academic status for AACSB standards.
- Teach a variety of courses in Health Care Administration in face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online formats, primarily for the MBA in Health Care Administration. The role may also involve teaching in the Masters in Health Care Administration program and the HCA‑BBA program as needed.
- Possess expertise in healthcare finance, economics, accounting, policy, or regulation.
- Demonstrate experience teaching and mentoring a diverse group of students and contribute to fostering diversity on campus.
- Maintain a record of scholarly research and achieve Scholarly Academic status required by AACSB.
Home location is the Denton campus; teaching may also be occasionally required at the Dallas or Houston campuses. The start date is fall 2026.
