Department Summary
The successful candidate will be a part of the Department of Multidisciplinary Innovation (DMI), a multidisciplinary department with a highly collaborative and collegial culture housed within the College of Applied and Collaborative Studies (CACS). We are a leader in project-based education, providing students unique opportunities to learn through collaboration with industry partners and other UNT academic units. We value authentic learning experiences that intentionally interweave liberal arts, data analysis, and design principles within the context of problems and projects that build 21st-century professional skills.
DMI offers classes and serves students on both the Denton and Frisco campuses as well as online.
DMI offers four undergraduate programs that require creativity and collaboration among faculty as well as, in some cases, cross-course multidisciplinary integration. We integrate project-based learning and emphasize teamwork and excellent communication about complex issues in our courses. We often work with community and industry partners within class contexts.

Position Overview
The Department of Multidisciplinary Innovation (DMI) invites ongoing applicants for our adjunct pool. When applying for this position, please designate which program(s) and course(s) you're qualified for and interested in. For BAAS courses, please indicate your order of preference among Frisco, Denton, and online. Curricula and course descriptions are available in the UNT Catalog: .edu

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications
* Ph.D. or ABD in a relevant field
* Minimum of 1 year university-level teaching experience
* Experience teaching in multidisciplinary or cross-disciplinary courses
* Experience with project-based curricula
* Experience teaching real-world problem solving
* Experience with hybrid/online course instruction (for B.A.A.S.)
