MissionYou will manage supplier incoming quality at the assigned production plant, programs, and suppliers. Working with Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain you will support resolution and prevention of supplier‑related issues to meet site and division targets.
Key Activities- Review weekly supplier quality incidents and identify defect trends.
- Initiate, communicate, track, and review Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR/PDCA).
- Plan, schedule, and implement supplier improvement projects through SPM.
- Collect and analyze cost recovery data and report status to the SPM.
- Maintain supplier performance metrics (quality, delivery, cost recovery).
- Support issuance and management of Quality Alerts related to supplier performance.
- Analyze and execute corrective actions as needed.
- Assist Supply Chain and Procurement with Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) and credit note processing.
- Support process and product audits under Quality and Internal Audit functions.
- Validate and maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
- Adhere to safe work practices and reinforce health, safety, and environmental programs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 3‑5 years of experience in Quality, Materials, Supplier Management or Supply Chain.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Expertise in tracking metrics and data analysis.
- Deep understanding of AS9100, military standards and quality management systems.
- Experience managing supplier corrective actions using 8D, PDCA, fishbone analysis.
