Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for a GIS Analyst to support our Civil Engineering practice in our Fort Worth, Texas (TX) office!

Responsibilities
  • Collect, organize, and manage data from multiple public data sources including, but not limited to, federal, state, and local databases
  • Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of spatial data
  • Develop and design high-quality maps that meet project specifications and client needs
  • Create visual exhibits for reports, presentations, and public meetings to effectively communicate project information
  • Perform field assessments of pedestrian facilities
Qualifications
  • 2+ years relavent experience
  • Bachelors degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Planning, Enviornmental Science, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our clients
  • Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic
  • Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines
  • Attention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environment
  • Passion and demonstrated drive to achieve goals
  • Experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, Field Maps, Survey
    123, Google Earth Pro)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
