Basic Qualifications
- Program management and/or project management experience
- Multidisciplinary understanding of air vehicle technologies and interactions between highly integrated systems (e.g., Propulsion, Thermal, and/or Power Generation/Distribution)
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through significant milestones and cultivating collaborative relationships with engine OEMs, suppliers, and multi‑government agencies
- Matlab and Simulink modeling environments experience
- Applied digital thread technologies
- Active Secret clearance
- Background in systems engineering, hardware/software development and/or test
- Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Teams competency
- Demonstrated ability to deconstruct requirements from air vehicle level to component level
- Experience in technology roadmap development
- Experience with various coding platforms (NPSS, C++, Python, Microsoft VB, etc.) and complex co‑simulation of air vehicle systems
- Experience leading efforts across a wide range of development phases including concept initiation, proof of concept, risk reduction testing, proposal lead, product transition, and execution
- Understanding and application of Earned Value Management and related tracking systems (e.g., VEMO)
- Familiarity with AI routines/processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company—home of the world‑renowned Skunk Works®—creates cutting‑edge military aircraft. This Program Management role is within Advanced Development Programs F‑35 Fighter Improvements and Derivatives organization.
As a Program Manager, you will support the Air Vehicle Portfolio Lead and:
- Plan and lead air vehicle projects, collaborating across ADP, the Technology Roadmap team and the F‑35 program team to transition technology into fighter aircraft
- Develop and execute New Business Funds (NBF) and Contracted Research and Development (CRAD) projects focused on maturing and transitioning thermal system technologies for the F‑35
- Build collaborative relationships with customers, labs and industry/supplier partners to shape, develop and transition new vehicle system capabilities to the F‑35 in support of warfighter needs

Employment DetailsPosition:
Full‑time, Onsite, 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Employee must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance.
