Position Summary:

The Texas Business Center, located in Denton, TX just north of Dallas and Fort Worth, is seeking a dynamic and talented Payment Specialist. The Payment Writer/Biller is responsible for writing up payments, entering notes into system and preparing and reviewing reports for cash balancing. Maintaining accurate cash logs, reviewing accounts financial transactions and communication with appropriate departments including CFO.

Responsibilities
  • Writing up payments, entering notes into system
  • Preparing and reviewing reports for cash balancing
  • Maintaining accurate cash logs
  • Reviewing accounts financial transactions
  • Communicating with appropriate departments including CFO
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of two (1) years experience in insurance billing and CPT coding
  • Experience with billing, computers, and business software programs (Excel) preferred
  • Experience with hospital business office preferred
  • Flexible hours, including overtime
