It is the responsibility of the staff respiratory therapist to demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care including critical care. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for execution of assignments. All care will be in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies. May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support – must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support – must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitate – must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support – must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT), or RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP) is required.
