TITLE

Integration Analyst II

JOB SUMMARY

The role of the Integration Analyst includes defining, developing, testing, analyzing, and maintaining new software applications to achieve the university's business requirements. Consults with users to identify operating procedures and clarify complex program objectives. Provides technical expertise required for advanced information technology systems and is responsible for ensuring the successful integration of administrative, auxiliary, and academic systems. Maintains a standard of excellence in the evaluation, gaps analysis, design, integration, and analysis of information technology systems supporting the mission of the University.

Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Manager or Director for the assigned work unit, and performance is based upon completion of assignments and results obtained. The performance evaluation is conducted through the performance evaluation system and in accordance with the University Policies & Procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES – May include, but not limited to the following:
  • Assists in planning and implementation of Housing & Dining initiatives.
  • Supports systems and procedures for reporting information resources and institutional data.
  • Provides support in developing, training, testing, and supporting the institutional risk management program for business continuity, security, and disaster recovery; this includes residential housing, card access systems, and dining management systems.
  • Assists in defining, developing, and documenting software's business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.
  • Assists in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation for Housing & Dining and Division of Student Life.
  • Analyzes and assesses existing business systems and procedures.
  • Consults and assists other teams on projects and integration issues within Housing & Dining and the Office of Technology.
  • Coordinates and manages all technology training and onboarding for students and full-time staff.
  • Co‑manages AV/security cameras & Wi‑Fi with DPS and the Office of Technology.
  • Manages the Makerspace, staff, equipment, and software. Develops and collaborates with academic departments on Makerspace projects.
  • Assists in managing and supporting audio‑visual, multi‑media, broadcast media, and security camera equipment and resources.
  • Installs, configures, tests, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots end‑user computing hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, telephones, and related software.
  • Performs analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex end‑user computing problems. Additionally, recommends and implements corrective solutions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participates in managing inventory of new and used computers, printers, copiers, software assets, and licenses. This involves overseeing other technical equipment and supplies.
  • Supports and maintains POS system computers, including servers, desktops, cash registers, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and credit card reader.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
  • May serve as a liaison between the university and regulatory and governmental agencies, regional operation companies, regulated service providers, vendors, and telecommunications organizations.
  • Trains, supervises, and evaluates student technology staff.
  • Maintains awareness of current practices and future trends in residential housing technology and best practices.
  • Represents Housing & Dining and participates in the campus community by serving on working groups, project teams, and university committees.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree required. Technology and network systems certifications preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Six years job related work in computing and/or communications, education environment highly preferred.
