Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Family Law Attorney based in Denton, TX. The attorney will handle a range of family law matters, including divorce cases, child custody disputes, and other legal family issues. Responsibilities will include drafting legal documents, filing motions, conducting legal research, performing depositions, appearing in court, and providing sound legal advice to clients. The role requires collaboration with clients and legal teams to achieve favorable outcomes in a professional and compassionate manner.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Family Law and handling a variety of family legal issues
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including motions and other court filings
- Experience in conducting legal research, depositions, and providing sound legal advice
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a legal team
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active licensure to practice law in Texas
- Board Certification in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases effectively
