Job DescriptionWe’re seeking a Engineering Supervisor to lead night shift operations and oversee a team of 12 to 15 engineering staff. This is a hands‑on leadership role in a fast‑paced, high‑output environment where safety, reliability, and teamwork are paramount. The position is based at a modern, fully automated facility in Denton, TX.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and direct engineering personnel
- Train new employees and demonstrate plant-specific procedures
- Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment
- Read and implement schematics and mechanical drawings
- Promote and monitor safety compliance
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Ensure compliance with company policies (EEO, Safety, etc.)
- Participate in hiring and disciplinary decisions
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in industrial operations
- Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology
- Night shift availability (alternating 4/3 schedule, 12‑hour shifts)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP), preventive maintenance, and system changes
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Physical capability for plant mobility and equipment handling
- Strong communication skills in English
- Safety compliance and proper use of PPE
- Experience with Allen Bradley systems and PLCs
- Boiler/refrigeration license or other applicable certifications
- Forklift license (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of formal management training
- Experience managing a Preventive Maintenance Program
